FAQ - Fine Art Prints
-
Who is behind these prints?
I am a National Geographic Traveller Contributor specializing in landscapes and wildlife. My goal is to preserve fleeting natural beauty as timeless fine-art prints for collectors and nature lovers.
-
Can I buy prints directly from the online shop?
Yes, the online shop is live! In case you have special requests, please reach out via the Contact Page I’ll be happy to handle your questions personally.
-
Are these prints limited edition?
Yes, prints sized A3+ and A2 are part of a limited edition. Each one is hand-signed and numbered, secured with a Hahnemühle hologram, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Prints smaller than A3+ are open editions (not numbered or limited). -
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, I only ship within Switzerland. However, if you are interested in purchasing from abroad, please reach out via email, I may be able to arrange international shipping on a case-by-case basis.
-
Do you sell framed prints?
No, prints are sold unframed. This allows you to choose a frame that best suits your personal taste and interior. It also ensures safe, secure shipping without the risk of glass damage.
-
Which paper finish do you offer?
All prints are produced on museum-grade semi-gloss (luster) fine art paper from Canon. This finish offers rich colors, deep contrast, and fine detail, while minimizing distracting glare. The exact paper type is noted on each product page.
-
What makes your prints archival quality?
Each artwork is printed on Canon or Hahnemühle museum-grade fine art paper, certified to meet stringent archival standards (DIN 6738, ISO 9706, ISO 16245). Combined with UV-resistant Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, this ensures:
- Longevity well beyond 100 years
- Color stability up to 200 years under archival display
- Potential preservation for 300 years in dark storage
-
How do you ensure print fidelity and color accuracy?
I personally soft-proof each piece on calibrated monitors using official paper ICC profiles. This process guarantees faithful color management and ensures that the print matches the artistic vision of the original file.
-
Do you handle printing and shipping yourself?
Yes, every collection is personally curated, soft-proofed, printed, and shipped directly from my studio, ensuring consistency, quality control, and care from start to finish.
-
How are prints packaged for delivery?
Prints are carefully protected in flat archival sleeves or sturdy mailing tubes (depending on size) to ensure safe arrival in pristine condition.
-
Can I commission a custom piece?
Yes, please refer to the on-demand printing services section or the FAQ below for more details.
-
Do you license your artwork for commercial use?

-
What is your return policy?
If the package appears severely damaged upon delivery, please refuse the shipment and notify me immediately. All shipments are insured against transport damage.
Each print is made to order and undergoes careful quality inspection before shipping. In the rare event that a print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect (such as scratches, tears, or stains), please contact me within 7 days and include clear photos of the issue. I will gladly arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
